Michael Bader is an audio engineer based in the Greater New York City area who specializes in tracking, mixing, and live sound. He also does private consulting, and lessons/tutoring.
Michael takes a very adaptive and feel-based approach to whatever he works on, while still incorporating his extensive technical knowledge. He understands that every project is different and requires its own unique means of achieving the goal.

Engineering
Tracking, editing, mixing, mastering for music, voiceover, and more: having run sessions in both large and small studios with A-list talent, and indie clients, Michael will work with you to realize your vision and create the best possible product, while maintaining the highest sonic and professional standards.
Michael works on music of all types, with a particular penchant for rock, funk, folk, and jazz. He specializes in full-band tracking, drums, and vocals, and has directed/produced for performers on spoken word and music projects.
Consulting
Audio is a language unto itself… Need help translating? Michael offers consultations for audio professionals, home studio hobbyists, and professionals in other industries looking to enhance their "broadcast” quality for webinars & meetings. Better audio noticeably improves your presentation, and often small changes in the workflow can result in large improvements to audio quality.
Lessons/Tutoring
Learning audio can be a daunting task. For several years, Michael has been a teacher of audio lessons; providing instruction for developing engineers and producers in both one-on-one tutoring and group lessons including live tutorials and in-studio workshops.
