Michael feels very at home in the studio, and tries to help the people he works with feel the same. Often in the recording process, artists are asked to work in a way that will be technically sound, but not necessarily in the way that makes them most comfortable. This can result in a performance that is not their best. Michael understands how important it is to find an approach that works for each project, whether it’s on a 2 minute song, or a 12 hour audiobook. He works to tailor his recording set-ups and workflow to make artists as comfortable as possible, while still maintaining high sonic and professional standards; doing all he can to bring out the best of each artist in the studio.

After the recording is over, it’s time to dig in for the details! Every mix is different, and every recording requires a unique treatment. In post production, Michael's approach is to discover the idea behind a track or project and enhance the elements in place, with special attention to the arrangement and vibe. He works with each client to realize their vision and create the best possible product using various industry standard hardware and software tools.

He has not only recorded top voice talent in commercial studios, but due to the necessity of COVID quarantines he has helped professionals in the entertainment, finance, and professional development industries make sure they sound their best, no matter where they happen to be.
